Position Highlights

The Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Arizona invites applications for two part-time Adjunct Instructor positions for the academic year. The department seeks candidates with a demonstrated record of teaching excellence. The positions FTE will vary based on teaching load and the number of units assigned per section.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Teaching one to two Chinese language courses depending on department needs.
  • Hold regular office hours.
  • Prepare course materials independently and collaboratively.
  • Attend department meetings and/or events as requested.
  • Actively recruit students to the East Asian Studies major and minor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Masters degree in East Asian Studies or a closely related field.
