Job Description
The Department of Fine Arts at Winthrop University is seeking applications for a part-time adjunct position with the expertise needed to serve as an Instructor of Art History. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and experienced individual who can teach introductory courses in art history specifically ARTH 175: Introduction to Ancient and Medieval Art (in person; for majors and non-majors).
Required Qualifications
Successful candidates must have a masters degree and a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in art history.
Preferred Qualifications
MA or PhD in art history. Previous experience teaching undergraduate students and proficiency with instructional technology and Learning Management Systems (e.g. Canvas Blackboard) are preferred.
