Adjunct History Lecturer (JumpStart)

The School of Professional Studies and University Transfer is currently seeking qualified individuals to instruct JumpStart (dual enrollment) History sections during the following days and times:

Wednesday 8 AM - 10:30 AM

Wednesday 11:15 AM - 1:30 PM and

Friday 8:20 AM - 10:30 AM.

This position requires the adjunct to:

Instruct History survey courses

Develop and manage course syllabus and materials

Develop and manage an online course site in the colleges LMS Blackboard Learn

Maintain records of attendance and student performance

Submit attendance and grades as required by the college

Education

Masters degree from an accredited institution in History subfield related field

Experience

1-2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required

Design and deliver effective instruction

Assess student learning and incorporate findings into course delivery

Utilize a learning management system to supplement face-to-face instruction

Support and encourage students in a civil and welcoming classroom climate

Adjunct pay dependent on degree level.
