This is an open pool posting and applicants will be contacted only if a suitable position becomes available. Pool may be used to fill vacancies for the Fall 2026 - Summer 2027.
This pool expires 05/31/2027. Applicants wishing to remain in this pool past 05/31/2027 must reapply at that time.
Position Summary:
Candidates are sought to form a hiring pool for temporary full-time and part-time positions in Mathematical Sciences. Teaching assignments will include lower division service courses upper division undergraduate courses or graduate courses in our Masters in Mathematics: Teaching Emphasis. Face-to-face and online teaching opportunities may be available. Depending on need and the instructors background assignments could be in mathematics mathematics education computer science or statistics and could include mathematics courses taken by preservice elementary school teachers. Applicants with experience or interest in teaching such courses should state this in their application. Most lower division undergraduate courses are coordinated; instructors must attend coordination meetings and work with the coordinator and other instructors. If you are applying to teach a dual enrollment course please indicate the school and the courses you would like to teach in your application.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Masters or Doctoral degree in one of the Mathematical Sciences (Mathematics Mathematics Education Computer Science Statistics or a related field).
- Potential for or evidence of innovative learner-centered pedagogy.
- A commitment to high quality instruction of a diverse student body is essential
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful teaching experience at the university level
- Experience and expertise in culturally responsive teaching.
