Baker College of Muskegon is seeking to fill an Adjunct Faculty position for our Veterinary Technology Program!
Candidates for this position must possess a Masters degree with LVT Credential. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DMV) is strongly preferred. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Additionally the candidate must be proficient with computers including Microsoft Office Suite Google Apps and internet usage.
In this role youll be responsible for delivering courses in line with the Faculty Workload Policy ensuring your teaching strategies align with the Baker College Learning Model. Youll creatively integrate learning technologies and platforms to help students meet their academic goals. As needed youll refine update or design curriculum to stay current and effective. Ongoing Professional Development training will be part of your growth journey. Youll also gather and submit essential student learning assessments providing thoughtful constructive feedback to guide their progress. Participation in the Faculty Growth and Evaluation Process is expected as well as involvement in key committees subcommittees projects and other activities that contribute to the academic community.
The chosen candidate will believe in and support the student first philosophy while contributing to the overall success of Baker College while acting as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus.
