Please note: applicants must reside in Virginia West Virginia Maryland or DC. Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions in Accounting (day evening and weekend). Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course semester basis as needed. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day evening and weekends. This position will be located on the Fauquier Campus Middletown Campus and Luray-Page County Center as needed. Compensation and Benefits: Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty: The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience. The position is part time and as such is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies. Note: Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty listings are on a continuous basis. Applicants will be contacted on an as needed basis. Telework According to DHRM policy 1.61 Teleworking effective July 5 2022 Virginia state employees will return to the workplace. Consistent with pre-pandemic policies telework may be an option for certain eligible positions.
