Job Summary
Introducing students to fundamental knowledge of research methods used in psychological sciences and helping them apply these concepts to studying behavior. Developing and presenting instruction aligned with the student learning outcomes of the course. Meeting at designated class periods. Grading student assignments in a timely manner. Submitting mid-semester progress reports and final grades by University deadlines.
Qualifications
A masters degree (or bachelors degree with relevant experience) in psychology or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment. Candidates with a Ph.D. and/or undergraduate teaching experience are preferred. Basic skills in conducting research with human participants are required. Individuals committed to teaching with inclusive pedagogies that promote active engagement to foster student learning are also encouraged to apply.
