We are seeking a hands-on detail-oriented Adhesion u0026 Laser Process Lab Engineer to join our advanced manufacturing this role you will be responsible for developing optimizing and sustaining precision adhesive joint systems and laser processing operations within a state-of-the-art lab environment. You will work at the intersection of materials science process engineering and manufacturing innovation partnering closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to drive process ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in precision adhesive processes practical laser equipment operation experience and a passion for continuous improvement. This is a highly collaborative fast-paced role that requires strong experimental design skills clear communication with leadership and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities. You must be comfortable working in required PPE and thrive in an environment that demands both scientific rigor and hands-on problem solving.

Develop implement and optimize manufacturing processes for complex adhesive joint systems in a lab environment nCollaborate with internal cross functional partners u0026 external suppliers to design experiments consisting of scope definition adhesive selection adhesive joint design and design of fixtures/assembly tools that support repeatability efficiency and reliabilitynPrioritize schedule design and conduct adhesive process investigations. Throughout experiment communicate progress document and present results to leadership teams. nOperate and maintain lab equipment to support trials including working with suppliers for maintenance repairs and upgrades developing detailed work instructions process flows and assembly documentationnPractical experience operating laser processing equipment for marking ablation and cutting applications with the ability to rapidly learn new laser platforms and continuous improvement initiatives to increase yield and reduce defects in adhesive processesnSeek out new cutting edge adhesive process technologies to keep the lab aligned with the latest industry innovationsnDocument and create clear reports and specifications that can be understood and reproduced by other teamsnWork with regulatory and facility team to ensure tools and materials in the lab are operating within required safety standards. n

3-5 years relevant experience working with precision adhesive processes such as dispense and laminationnBS minimum (MS preferred) in chemical engineering mechanical engineering or relevant STEM fieldnInternational travel up to 20%nThis is not a hybrid role and requires 100% onsite work in the lab

Experience designing experiments focused on selecting optimal adhesive chemistry processes and joint designsnFamiliar with operating including programming various dispense tools. nFamiliar and comfortable working in required PPEnHands on fast learner excited to design trials debug and fix equipment/ oriented organized self starter and motivated in a fast-paced work environment nProficient in CAD (NX Catia Solidworks)
