- Execution of Scout ADAS featurescalibration and validationin collaboration with cross functional peers in areas like drive chassis and steering.
- Collaborate withLead ADAS DREto meetADAScalibrationand validationdeliverables for timing and feature maturity based on SW readiness.
- Work with lead calibrationor validationengineeron calibration and validation plans for ADAS features.
- Developcalibrationvariants needed for different vehicles andvehicletrim levelsfor ADAS features.
- Participate inADAScalibration tripsincludingdefiningtrip deliverablesand measuringdevelopment progress for your area of responsibility
- Work with lead ADAS DRE to provideoverallcalibrationand validationstatus forprogram milestones.
- Work with Virtual testing team to develop HIL test cases to move testing to virtualas much as possible.
- Stayup-to-datewith the latest advancements in ADAS technologies industry trends and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role may be based out of theScout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte NC.
- This role requires 4 days per week in the office with one day flexible & regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the companyfrom time to time.

- Bachelors ormasters degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in ADASfeaturedevelopmentor calibrationreleasewithin the automotive industry.
- Experience withcalibrationconfiguration andrelease management utilizing calibration tools (e.g. INCA and Creta)
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CANandEthernet) and tools for development simulation and testing ( CANalyzer JIRA and Confluence).
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data setsroot-causesystem issues andimplementeffective solutions.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards andlegislativeregulations ( 26262 SAE J3016 FMVSS)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinaryand multiculturalteams present technical information and influence decision-making processes.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated in a dynamic environment.
- Must have the ability to operate a vehicle in the US.
- Fluency in German is a plus

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range $140000.00 - $170000.00
