Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain actuarial models for insurance pricing reserving forecasting and risk analysis.
- Analyze statistical and financial data to identify trends risks and business opportunities.
- Support pricing strategies reserve calculations and profitability analysis.
- Perform predictive analytics and statistical modeling using Python R SQL or similar tools.
- Prepare actuarial reports dashboards and presentations for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with underwriting finance claims and risk management teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Validate data quality and ensure accuracy of actuarial calculations and assumptions.
- Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance activities.
- Continuously improve actuarial models methodologies and analytical processes.
- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Progress toward or completion of SOA or CAS actuarial exams.
- Experience with VBA SAS or other actuarial tools.
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and actuarial standards.
- Experience with Power BI Tableau or other visualization tools.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Actuarial Science Mathematics Statistics Finance Economics or a related quantitative field.
