An established and growing P&C carrier is seeking an Actuarial Analyst II to join its Reserving team and play a key role in quarterly and annual loss reserve analyses that directly support financial reporting profitability management and business decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for an actuarial professional looking to deepen their reserving expertise while working closely with Finance Accounting Claims and senior actuarial leadership.

Prepare quarterly and annual loss reserve analyses using established actuarial methods
Support financial statement and regulatory reporting processes
Partner with Finance and Accounting during quarterly close cycles
Review data assumptions and calculations to ensure accuracy and reliability
Identify process improvements and enhance reserving workflows
Respond to auditor and cross-functional business requests
Manage reserving-related projects and deliverables

2 years of P&C actuarial experience
Reserving experience strongly preferred
4 CAS exams preferred
Experience with ResQ or similar reserving platforms is a plus
Knowledge of Excel and analytical tools such as SQL Python R or VBA
Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
