Primary Responsibilities

St. Michaels Prep is seeking activity bus drivers to transport students to both local and out-of-town-events. This is a part-time non-exempt hourly position. Upon hire the candidate will report to the Assistant Director of Auxiliary Programs Transportation and Asset Management.

Job Details:

• Drive students to both local and out-of-town events. These events include but are not limited to: athletic events and competitions retreats and academic field trips as needed.
• Routes will include trips to Dallas Houston and San Antonio as well as various locations in and around Austin. Local trips will be a minimum of four (4) hours.
• The drivers schedule will depend on the schedule of events but is usually scheduled a minimum of two (2) weeks prior.

Required Experience Degree and Skills:

• Qualified candidates must have valid CDL class B with P endorsement.
• Candidates also must have at least one (1) verifiable year of experience operating a bus or comparable vehicle.
• Candidates must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes and be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check (fingerprinting) and drug test.
