Activities and Safety Director

The Aurora R-VIII School District is seeking a HIGH ENERGY RELATIONSHIP/CULTURE BUILDER to serve as the district

Activities and Safety Director for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.

The SALARY RANGE will be commensurate with experience/qualifications and be a minimum of $75000 per year.

Prefernce will be given to candidates with three (3) or more years of sucessfull public school leadership - preferably in the area of Activities/Athletics and/or Safety.

Aurora R-VIII has a strong tradition of community support academic success and a students first approach!

The unique FOUR-DAY work week with Fridays being the weekday school is not in-session allows for an appealing schedule with a consistent three (3) day weekend.

This position is a TWELVE (12) MONTH contracted commitment with the four (4) day-week expectation and would begin on July 1st 2026.
