Duties

• Develop creative proactive sourcing strategies utilizing advanced search methods social media and professional networks.
• Identify and engage with top professionals who may not be actively looking for a job.
• Review potential leads and initiate phone calls to assess interest levels.
• Conduct phone screens to determine individual qualifications in relation with open positions.
• Work alongside talent acquisition specialist with panel interviews through the onboarding process.
• Must perform duties in a safe professional and courteous manner to promote a positive image of the road commission for Oakland County.
• Requires a daily schedule that supports RCOC hours of operation.
• Regular and predictable onsite job attendance is an essential function of this position.
  

Special Experience/Education

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Human Resources Development Human Resource Administration Education or related field.
  
• Possess strong planning organizational and written/verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in hiring union employees or engineers (civil) a plus.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state of Michigan drivers license.
