On site Activities Mondays 12PM - 4PM; Fridays 9AM - 1PM

The Activities Coordinator also titled The Active Life Coordinator is a valuable member of our Petals Memory Care Program which provides our residents with supportive and person-centered social connections to inspire joy meaningful interactions and life fulfillment. Some of the elements of our Petals Program include Physical Wellbeing Creative Arts Social Connections Waters Academy Integrated & Spiritual Therapies and Music & Arts Enrichment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Some examples of activities include exercise classes creative arts culinary creations social interactions personal engagements off-site excursions etc.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities

• A love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents team members and families
• Previous experience working with seniors and/or experience in memory care recreational therapy education hospitality or related areas preferred
• The ability to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends as appropriate
