TheAcquisitions Technicianposition playsan important rolein ensuringtimelyaccess to Hunt Librarys print and electronic collections. Working closely with the Acquisitions Librarian library colleagues vendors and campus partners you will support the ordering receipt invoicing and processing of library resources that advance the universitys teaching learning and research mission.
The successful candidate will join the Hunt Library () serving the Daytona Beach Prescott and Worldwide Campuses working regular business hours. Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate the ordering receiving invoicing and processing of print and electronic library materials while working with vendors and campus partners to resolve ordering issues.
Maintainaccurateacquisitionsvendor inventory and financial records using the Alma librarymanagementsystem and other library technologies.
Track purchase requests and communicate withlibrary staffthroughout theacquisitionsprocess.
Assistwith collection maintenance activities including gift materialsserialsleisure reading collections repairs and materials processing.
Prepare reportsmonitoracquisitionsexpenditures andassistwith budget tracking and workflow documentation.
Coordinate departmental mail distribution and maintain processingand repair supplies.
Participate in special projects library committees and other duties as assigned.

Generous Time Off:Enjoy up to 18 days of paid leave in your first year including 3 days granted upon hire and 15 days accrued throughout the year. Youll also receive 9 paid holidays including the day after Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas Eve and New Years Day.
Tuition Coverage:Get 100% tuition coverage for yourself for one undergraduate and one graduate degree and discounted rates for your spouse and dependent children up to age 26.
Retirement Contributions:ERAU contributes 6% of your base salary to your retirement plan and offers a 4% matching contribution with no vesting period.
Personal Leave:Relax with 15 days of personal leave for non-exempt employees or 18 days for exempt full-time employees in your first year.
Compensation
The hourly range for this role is$16.00-$17.00. The final offer will be based on the candidates skills qualifications and experience as well as applicable state regulations internal equity and business needs and may fall outside of the stated range.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
One to three years of related work experience.
Strong written communication grammar basic math and organizational skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office and standard internet applications.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Strong analytical problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to learn and effectively use library information systems and business applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Somecollegepreferred.
Experience working in a library or similar information-centered environment.
Familiarity withlibrary managementsystems (such as Alma) MARC records OCLC GOBI/YBP EBSCONET or other library resource management software.
Experience with ordering invoicingpurchasingor accountspayable workflows.
Knowledge of library acquisitions technical services or collection management processes.
