Accounts Payable Summer Intern

The FinanceIntern Accounts Payablepositionis responsible forassistingthe Supervisorinaiding internal personnel external vendors and cross-division customers to support their use of online may bedirectly relatedto payment status information andtimelyproblem resolution for invoices associated with indirect purchases in our US Canadian and Jamaican operations.

This summer internship position will be in office at 4770 Hinckley Industrial Parkway Cleveland OH 44109 and for approximately 37.5 hours per week.

Because this role involves access to confidential financial information the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.

• This position is responsible forproviding assistance toour internal cross-division customers to support their use of on-line systems and to our external may bedirectly relatedto payment status information andtimelyproblem resolution for invoices associated with purchases in our USCanada and Jamaicaoperations.
• Responsibilities include invoice discrepancy analysis and evaluation resolution of debit balance assignments analysis of invoice payment holds spreadsheet manipulation respond to phone inquiries from vendors and internal employees some invoice data entry andassistingwith projects as assigned.
• Internsare expected to develop a good business relationship withthe vendorsand internal customers to minimize unexpected issues or delays in shipment due to non-payment.

MinimumRequirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be pursuing an associates orbachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or otherbusiness relatedfield at the start and duration of the internship.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g. OPT CPT H1B EB-1 etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products such as WordExceland Power Point
