Job Summary:The Accounts PayableRepresentativeassiststheAccounts Payable Supervisorin the day-to-day management of the accounts payable function.This roleis responsible forprocessing vendor invoices issuing purchase ordersmaintainingaccuratefinancial records preparing payment runs reconciling bank and general ledger accounts and supporting internal departments with accounts payable-related requests.
The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced growing organization. This position requiresa self-starterwho works as part of a teamhasstrong communicationskills the ability to manage multiple priorities and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process and manageaccountspayable transactions related to repair orders purchase orders non-inventory purchases lease payments and other operational expenditures.
- Review verify and accurately enter vendor invoices into the accounting system ensuring proper codingand approvals.
- Prepare and process vendor payments including checksACH wiretransfersand other approved payment methods.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice payment and account discrepancies ina timelyand professional manner.
- Entering Purchase Order/ Project Billbacks
- Non-inventory&leasing-relatedAccounts Payabletasks fulfillment
- Accounts PayableGL accounts reconciliation and maintenance
- Support month-endand year-end closeprocesses
- Ensure compliance with company policies internal controls audit requirements and applicable accounting standards.
- Work withother departments toassisttheir Accounts Payable needs/requests
- Maintain high energy cooperative and positiveattitudeand initiative among the team
- Other tasks and projects as directed by management
Required Experience:
- A bachelors degree andup to1-3years prior experienceinan accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite particularly Outlook ExcelWord and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the aviation industry.
- Experience with SalesforceAvSight Accounting Seed or similar ERP/accounting systems.
- Knowledge of purchase order processing repair order management and vendor payment administration.
- Experience with account reconciliations month-end close activities and financial reporting support.
