Jensen Imports is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Sioux City IA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing invoices ensuring accurate and timely payments and maintaining positive vendor relationships. This role offers a competitive hourly wage paid weekly and the opportunity to be part of a reputable automotive dealership. Hours are Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm alternating Friday and Saturday 8 am - 5 pm.

• Process and verify invoices expense reports and payment requests promptly and accurately
• Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain vendor files and relationships responding to inquiries as needed
• Prepare and process weekly payroll for accounts payable
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing by providing reports and data
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial management activities

• Previous experience in accounts payable or similar accounting role
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
