Accounting Supervisor

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support day-to-day accounting operations across AP AR and general accounting functions within a multi-entity environment.

This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Controller and offers the opportunity to help strengthen accounting processes support operational improvements and contribute to a company currently undergoing significant growth and modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate is hands-on solutions-oriented adaptable and eager to grow into broader leadership responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support daily Accounts Payable activities including invoice processing approvals accruals and three-way matching
Assist with general accounting responsibilities including bank reconciliations intercompany reconciliations journal entries and month-end close support
Oversee AP and AR team workflow and provide day-to-day guidance across accounting operations
Support inventory-related accounting and reconciliation activities between multiple divisions and ERP systems
Ensure timely invoice posting and proper accrual handling when invoices are pending
Help improve processes strengthen controls and support ongoing accounting infrastructure development
Partner closely with the Controller on operational and accounting initiatives
Assist with cross-functional communication between accounting operations and plant teams

Qualifications:
5 years of accounting and accounts payable experience required
Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles AP processes accruals reconciliations and month-end procedures
Experience within manufacturing or inventory-based environments highly preferred
Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage Dynamics/Navision or similar platforms preferred
Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Strong attitude adaptability accountability and willingness to learn are critical for success
