Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisoris responsible foroverseeing daily accounting operations ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records supervising accountingstaffand supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. This role workscross functionally tomaintaincompliance with company policies and accounting standardswhile driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
The Accounting Supervisor reports to the Director of Accounting. The Accounting team iscomprisedof 3 Senior Accountants anAccountantand a Treasury Accountant. Theprimary focus of the team is theaccuraterecording of information in the general ledgerinteracting with and providing information to our external and internalauditorsand ad hocanalysisandreporting.
- Oversee general ledger activities including bank reconciliations journal entriesand account analysis.
- Review balance sheet account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Assistwith and review month-end quarter-end and year-end close processes
- Ensuretimelyandaccuratefinancial reportingin accordance withGAAP companypoliciesand internal controls
- Review and approve invoice coding
- Monitor compliance with internal controls company policies and regulatory requirements
- Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and responding to inquiries
- Analyze financial results and investigate variances
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve accounting and operational issues
- Identifyopportunities for process improvements and automation
- Assistwith training workload planning and performance evaluations
- Ad Hoc reports and requests as needed
- Strong work ethic and be ableto meetcritical timelines (willing to work overtimeduring quarterly closes and annual audits as needed).

- 4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- ERP system experience (NetSuite experience preferred notrequired)
- Experience in a publicly traded corporate environment (preferred notrequired)
- Experience in Microsoft Officeproficiencyin Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Financerequired
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates will follow our hybrid schedule working in office Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.
This position offers a base compensation of $75000 - $100000 annually based on experience knowledge skills and education.
