Accounting Specialist

Essential Job Functions

• Maintainsup-to-date billing system and follow up collection and allocation of payments.
• Responsible for timely and accurate processing of accounts payable duties
• Daily opening of mail and date stamping
• Filing of processed invoices and POs.
• Carriesout billing collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
• Providesreconciliation of accounts and maintain accounts receivable/payableclientfiles
• Monitorsclient/vendoraccount details for non-payments delayed payments and other irregularities
• Followsestablished procedures for processing receipts cash adjustments and preparesbank deposits
• Investigatesand resolvesclient/vendorqueries
• Performs additional research as needed
• Organizesa recovery system and initiatescollection efforts
• Communicateswithclients/vendorsvia phone email mail or personally
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong experience in general bookkeeping procedures
• Proficient in relevant computer applications.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three years accounts receivable accounts payableand general accounting experience.
