This is anindividual contributor roleyou will serve as thesole person in accounting owning the full cycle of financial management and reporting for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annualfinancial statements
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial data
- Oversee cash flow reconciliations and month-end close
- Managejob cost accounting including budget vs. actual tracking
- Handleproject accounting contract tracking and cost allocations
- ProcessAIA billingand all construction-related invoicing
- ManageAP including subcontractor invoices and vendor payments
- ManageAR including progress billing and collections
- Maintain lien releases COIs and subcontractor compliance
- Processcertified payrollfor approximately28 employees
- Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws and reporting requirements
- UtilizeQuickBooksfor all accounting operations
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- 5 years of accounting experience with at least3 years in construction
- Proficiency in QuickBooksrequired
- Strong understanding ofjob costing project accounting and AIA billing
- Experience processingcertified payroll
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred (but not required)
