Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accounting and finance function of theQuintRoomsdivision and Quint Rooms entity.
  • Own the monthly close process end-to-end including journal entries account reconciliations accruals variance analysis andtimelyproduction ofaccuratefinancial statementsin accordance withGAAP and company policies for Quint Rooms.
  • Responsible for the oversight and approval of journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
  • Directly supervisecoachand develop a staff accountant to support efficient team operations.
  • Manage and oversee accounts payableandaccounts receivable inclusive of the month-end close processtimelypayment of vendor invoicesaccuraterecord keeping and any necessary tax compliance filings (i.e.W-9 and annual 1099s)
  • Assistwith the annual financial statement audit as it relates toQuintRoomsand various other third-party audits
  • Work directly with theSVPQuintRoomsandQuintRoomsoperations team on financial projections
  • Strengthen financial controls and reporting discipline bymaintainingaudit-ready documentation enforcing internal controls supporting external audits and improving accounting processes systems and workflows for accuracy and efficiency to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Partner with theVPAccountingto support strategic initiatives.
  • Manage monthly recognition of deferred revenue and prepaid expenses
  • Lead the annual budgeting processand financial reporting projections forQuintRooms

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Financewith a strong understanding of GAAP; CPA.
  • 7 years of progressive accounting experience with at least2yearssupervising direct reports.
  • Strong technicalexpertisein U.S. GAAP including revenue recognition
  • Deep understandingofandrecent experience withSOX audit processes and internal controls.
  • Experience supporting public company reporting as part of a business unit or segment within a larger public enterpriseis preferred
  • Experience in global events hospitality travel or similar industriesstronglypreferred.
  • Knowledge of Sage Intacctpreferred
  • This role is based at our headquarters in Charlotte NC.
