The Accounting Manager oversees the companys accounting operations financial reporting internal controls and account reconciliations. This role manages the accounting team and partners with the Vice President of Finance on budgeting auditing and financial planning.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.

• Analyze financial results and reconcile general ledger accounts.

• Oversee daily accounting activities and month-end close.

• Administer company credit card programs.

• Evaluate and strengthen accounting processes and internal controls.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Coordinate external audits and support regulatory reporting.

• Lead coach and develop the accounting team.

• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting.

• Support strategic financial initiatives led by the VP of Finance.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting

• At least 5yrs of Progressive Accounting Experience as well as Leadership Experience

• Experience with ERP Systems Databases & Financial Reporting Tools (Microsoft Dynamics)

• Experience with GAAP Based Accounting Principles Economic/Accounting Principles and Practices Financial Markets Banking & the Analysis/Reporting of Financial Data

• Strong understanding of all functions of the typical accounting department including accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and communicate effectively with upper management.

• Ability to explain and advise management on best financial practices budgeting profit and loss and assist in making financial decisions for the company.
