Basic Job Functions:
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: leading accounting/finance team members and processes various financial and cost analyses for driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the business and involvement in corporate wide and product group initiatives along with other related duties to support the department division and company.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance
Five years experience in financial accounting or finance related field
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA or CMA certification
Masters Degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance
Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: accounting credit and collections information technology financial analysis project management people development procurement human resources contract management risk management internal controls business law
ERP system experience including Oracle One Stream etc.
Desire and mobility to become a Controller or Department Manager
Previous Leadership experience
Previous manufacturing experience
