Overview
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and manage a small team in a Costpointdriven GovCon environment. This individual will play a key role in leading the close strengthening internal controls and supporting organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger AP AR payroll and project accounting
- Review and manage monthend close and financial reporting
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and GovCon requirements (FAR DCAA)
- Serve as primary contact for audits and external requests
- Lead process improvements and Costpoint best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 610 years of accounting experience including leadership responsibilities
- Strong Deltek Costpoint experience required
- Prior government contracting experience required
- CPA preferred; strong communication and leadership skills required
