Our client a growing chemical solutions company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead manufacturing cost accounting pricing strategy profitability analysis and corporate accounting functions. This role will partner closely with operations supply chain and commercial leadership to drive financial performance improve margins and support strategic decision-making across multiple facilities.

Salary Range: 120-140 plus bonus

Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Cost Accounting
- Manage standard costing BOMs inventory valuation and manufacturing overhead allocations within the ERP system.
- Analyze manufacturing variances including labor material usage yields scrap and production efficiency.
- Partner with plant leadership to identify cost reduction and operational improvement opportunities.
- Support inventory controls reconciliations and financial accuracy across manufacturing locations.
Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Support month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting forecasting variance analysis and annual operating plans.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls accounting policies and GAAP standards.
- Support external audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain financial and operational data integrity across ERP and manufacturing systems.
- Develop KPI reporting and financial dashboards for leadership teams.
- Support process improvements reporting automation and ERP enhancements.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required.
- 57 years of experience in cost accounting manufacturing finance or corporate accounting.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
Salary Range: 120-140 plus bonus
