Summary: The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for working with other members of the accounting department to compile analyze and report financial data. Ensures that all financial records are accurate and complete in every process. This individual will be highly involved in any account merger and acquisition transitions and work closely alongside the Banking division.

Requirements

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processes lockbox payments and exceptions. Creates and audits Lockbox and Online Payments.
  • Handles adjustments. Processes return notices regarding ACH and online payments from City National Bank.
  • Handles commercial account payments. Processes and addresses payment/portal inquiries.
  • Configures Software based off Clients needs in Portal and ERP System.
  • Coordinates new account transition activities.
  • Inputs/Imports Accounting information into new software.
  • Handles accounts receivable balance forwards.
  • Analyzes and interprets Accounting records from prior management.
  • Notifies 3rd party vendor (I.e. banks attorney PayLease) of the new management company.
  • Prepares Treasury services for new account.
  • Prepares delinquency resolution.
  • Coordinates first delinquency spreadsheet.
  • Reviews/Releases Signature Cards.
  • Inputs ACH applications. Creates and audits the Main ACH file for Caliber and maintains online payment reports.
  • Coordinates termination of associations.
  • Coordinates with various banks to close prior management accounts.
  • Coordinates with the bank to send the new investment paperwork.
  • Handles deposits as assigned.
  • Practices and adheres to Keystones Core Values Mission and Vision.
  • Any additional job duties as required by the supervisor.


Qualification Requirements:

  • General knowledge of GAAP Accounting.
  • Exposure to financial reporting.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Communicate effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Verifiable references.
  • Able to pass a background check.


Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Clerical/Administrative role required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Accounting related role preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
