ACCOUNTING CLERK

Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various accounting and administrative tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions

- Prepare and issue invoices to clients

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements

- Monitor and track company expenses

- Prepare financial reports as needed

- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments

- Perform general administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent associates or bachelors degree in Accounting preferred

- 2 years of experience in an accounting role

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
