ACCOUNTING CLERK

Position: Accounting Clerk

Job Type: (Remote)

Dayton Rogers Contract is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in the accounting field and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

- Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Prepare and maintain financial records including invoices receipts and bank statements

- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

- Prepare and submit tax forms and other financial documents

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

- Monitor and track expenses and prepare reports for management

- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any billing or payment issues

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

- Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent some college coursework in accounting or related field preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
