ACCOUNTING CLERK

Position: Accounting Clerk

Job Type: (Remote)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements

- Prepare and post journal entries

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Maintain accurate and organized financial records

- Monitor and track expenses and ensure they are within budget

- Assist with payroll processing and maintaining employee records

- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment inquiries

- Perform data entry and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role

- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QuickBooks SAP etc.)

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong problem-solving skills
