Job Summary

Accounting Clerk / Administrative Assistant


Our customer is a growing landscape management company who is seeking a dependable and organized Accounting Clerk / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment can manage multiple responsibilities and takes pride in providing excellent administrative and accounting support.


Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Process Accounts Payable including matching invoices and preparing payments.
  • Prepare invoices and manage Accounts Receivable collections.
  • Create track and maintain purchase orders.
  • Enter and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Assist with payroll support and other administrative duties as needed.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper).
  • Communicate with vendors customers and internal staff regarding invoices payments and orders.
  • Provide general office support to management and field operations.
  • Handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.



Qualifications:

  • 2 years of accounting bookkeeping or administrative experience.
  • Experience in the construction landscape or related industry is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software (Sage Foundation Microsoft Dynamics etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable and purchase order processing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable dependable and punctual.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
