Job Position Summary
TheAccountingAssistant/TitleClerkposition reports to the OfficeManagerregardingperformance attendance position entails daily banking for all CIT Cancelation deposits receipting of wires andfunds fordealer tradesand wholesalesVITU moniesandpaying off daily floorplan monies due. This position alsois responsible forprocessing wholesales anddealer tradescourtesy this position will processout-of-statedeals for each store.
Responsibilities
Reconcilesoffice records with those of the sales department.
Prepares a daily report of contracts vehicle receivables due and proceedspaysflooring based on that report andverifies tofloorplan schedules.
Accounts for allwholesaledeal records. Compiles a list of any missing transactions.
Manages Courtesy Delivery tasks.
Process all new and used vehicles for out of state registration in the state which they will be titled. Maintain a system to verify out-of-state titles.
Accurately prepare tax and title documents.
Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Verify funds have beencollectedand the correct lienholder is paid off before processing title applications.
Ensure accuracy of title applications.
Keep andmaintaina tax and title schedule with the status of all out of state title work.
Complete all aspects of wholesale transaction title work.
UseAxcessato communicate used vehicle title status.
Maintain all related schedules to tasks cleaning them weekly and turning in JV for review.
Maintains a professional appearance.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Two to fouryearsrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Be able tolift upto fifty (50) pounds.
Be able to stand and sit for an hour or more at a time.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Required pre-employment drug test.
Also subject to random drug testing reasonablesuspiciondrug testing and post-accident testing at the companys request.
Organized with the ability to switch between tasks or stay focused on repetitive tasks as needbe.
Self-motivated to goabove and beyondtargeted goals.
Perseverance in completing challenging tasks.
