CDD is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. What Youll Do
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and on time.
- Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements.
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments.
- Support the accounting team with data entry filing and general finance functions.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records in compliance with organizational policies.

What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field.
- Experience with accounting software systems.
- Nonprofit accounting experience.
