Accounting Assistant

Trinity Pension Consultants Inc. is a leading regional independent non-producing Third-Party Administration firm based in Akron Ohio. We partner with retirement plan sponsors and their financial professionals to deliver top-tier administration and compliance solutions for employer-sponsored retirement plans and were growing.
- Handle bank deposits of customer checks and follow up on overdue invoices to keep cash flow moving.
- Execute accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and enter financial data accurately into Intacct.
- Perform account and bank reconciliations and research and resolve discrepancies when something doesnt match.
- Help with routine accounting functions.
- Assist the Finance Department with administrative items and support financial projects as they come up.
- Jump in wherever youre needed. Were a team and we roll up our sleeves together.
- Live in (or be ready to relocate to) Northeast Ohio.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- One year of accounting experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint); experience with Intacct or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- A self-starter with good problem-solving skills who works well independently and takes pride in high-level client service.
