What Youll Do
As the Accounting Analyst youll support day-to-day accounting operations with a blend of accounts receivable work and general accounting analysis.
Accounts Receivable (approximately 30% of role):
- Apply incoming cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts
- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes
- Support credit memo processing and customer account maintenance
- Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation
- Support internal controls audit requests and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
- Other duties as assigned
What Were Looking For
- 2 years of experience in accounting accounts receivable or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP system experience a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills including comfort following up with customers
- Manufacturing packaging distribution or business-to-business industry experience is a plus
- Bachelors degree in Accounting is required
