Accountant

Were currently partnered with a well-established local CPA firm in the Brentwood MO area that is looking to add an Accountant to their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone seeking variety in their work direct client exposure and a more balanced public accounting environment without the extreme hours of a traditional firm.

• Assisting in planning and execution of tax and attest engagements
• Preparing workpapers for tax returns compilations reviews and audits
• Supporting a range of tax services including planning projections and compliance
• Conducting tax research and applying findings to client situations
• Working directly with clients to provide high-quality service and guidance

• Public accounting experience preferred
• Experience preparing federal and state tax returns (corporate partnership individual trusts estates)
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or UltraTax is a plus
• Strong communication and client-facing skills

• Exposure to both tax and attest work (well-rounded experience)
