Volt is immediately hiring forAn Accountant in Pittsburgh PA.

As an Accountant you will:

• Support the full accounting cycle from transaction processing through month-end close consolidation and financial reporting
• Prepare and post journal entries accruals intercompany transactions and account
• Perform complex account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy
• Support audits special projects ad hoc reporting requests and process improvement initiatives
• Contribute to ERP and financial systems initiatives including process documentation and implementation support
• Track and support team performance metrics while gaining exposure to multiple business lines and global operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree preferably in accounting or finance; or equivalent work
• Accounting experience in financial services preferred
• Experience working the full accounting cycle from transaction through consolidation and close to financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting applications such as PeopleSoft.

• Experience with direct customer contact answering business inquiries.

• Financial services or public accounting experience preferred

This is a Contract Opportunity

4 Days Onsite

9:00AM - 5:00PM

Pay Rate:$25.00 - 45.00 per hour based onskill level

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
