Location: Corporate Headquarters Pittsburg Kansas
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Travel: Occasional travel required during peak business season

Lone Star Management and Jakes Fireworks are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Team Member to join our Corporate Accounting Department at our Pittsburg Kansas headquarters.

This position supports daily accounting operations across multiple company divisions and locations nationwide. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills accuracy confidentiality and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment particularly during seasonal peak operations.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Enter invoices expenses and financial data into accounting systems

• Assist with account reconciliations and financial record maintenance

• Review purchase orders vendor statements and billing documentation

• Support payroll and expense reporting processes as assigned

• Maintain organized financial files and documentation

• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures

• Communicate with vendors managers and internal departments regarding accounting matters

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the accounting team

• Travel periodically to company locations during busy season to assist with financial operations

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Associate degree or coursework in Accounting Business or Finance preferred

• Prior accounting bookkeeping or office experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems

• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to travel occasionally during peak season

• Office setting located at Corporate Headquarters in Pittsburg Kansas
