Job Summary
The DC Accounting Clerk 1 is responsible for preparing account reconciliations account analysis freight reconciliation and various other DC related tasks. This position will also assist in the inventory reconciliation for the Lubbock warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare freight reconciliation on a weekly basis to ensure every load is breakeven or profitable
Work on improving processes to reconcile freight in accounting systems
Assist in the reconciliation of inventory and warehouse payable account
Review suspect average cost report daily
Review freight invoice adjustments daily
Work closely with Llano inbound transportation department
Work closely with procurement team from each department to manage freight deals in the system
Perform other accounting functions as needed
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Key Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Accounting or Finance degree preferred or 3-5 years experience
Excellent computer skills specifically Excel
Must be able to multi-task and meet deadline in a fast paced environment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance work habits and attitude
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
