Overview
Our client is seeking an Accountant with Deltek Costpoint experience to support daytoday accounting operations in a projectbased government contracting environment. This role is ideal for someone with foundational GovCon experience who is looking to grow and deepen their Costpoint skillset.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger accounting
- Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts
- Support monthend close activities
- Assist with accounts payable accounts receivable and billing in Deltek Costpoint
- Support project setup cost tracking and expense review
- Assist with audit documentation requests (DCAA / GAAP)
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 14 years of accounting experience
- Handson experience with Deltek Costpoint required
- Prior GovCon or projectbased accounting experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
