Associate Account Manager Litigation & Claims Management
Role Overview

An opportunity for a litigation professional to combine legal strategy analytics and claims management within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This role focuses on managing complex environmental and mass tort matters while partnering with outside counsel and internal stakeholders to drive efficient litigation outcomes and ensure compliance with billing and coverage standards.

Ideal candidates will have experience in civil litigation strong analytical abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and urgency.

Compensation & Schedule
  • Base Salary: $90000 $130000
  • Annual Bonus Potential: Up to 5%
  • Flexible Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
  • First 6 Months: Fully onsite
  • After 6 Months: 1 remote day per week
  • After 1 Year: Flexible hybrid schedule
  • After 2 Years: Fully remote eligible

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new claims loss notices and coverage tenders.
  • Analyze claims under applicable primary umbrella and excess coverage policies.
  • Coordinate defense counsel retention and litigation strategy with stakeholders.
  • Manage case resolution efforts mediations settlements and reserve recommendations.
  • Oversee litigation expenses billing review and payment processing.
  • Collaborate with reinsurers and internal legal teams on claims strategy and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate claim documentation and compliance procedures.
  • Travel as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 23 years of experience in civil litigation asbestos toxic tort or related matters.
  • Strong analytical communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • JD and attorney licensure preferred.
  • NYCAL experience is a plus.
  • CPCU or adjuster licensing is a plus.
Additional Information

Candidates will be required to obtain an Adjusters License shortly after hire.
