Our client is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Account Executive to join their San Diego team. This individual will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of transportation insurance clients while identifying new business opportunities and delivering consultative insurance solutions.
The Account Executive will serve as a trusted advisor to clients by assessing their insurance needs recommending appropriate coverage and providing outstanding service throughout the policy lifecycle. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills a consultative sales approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced client-focused environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build maintain and grow long-term client relationships.
- Prospect and develop new business within the transportation insurance market.
- Conduct client needs assessments and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Prepare and present customized insurance proposals.
- Manage policy renewals endorsements and ongoing account servicing.
- Collaborate with underwriting and service teams to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and client records within CRM and agency management systems.
- Stay current on transportation insurance products market trends and industry regulations.
- Experience in insurance sales account management or client relationship management.
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong consultative selling relationship management and business development skills.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational analytical and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office CRM platforms and business software.
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field preferred.
- Experience supporting transportation trucking or logistics clients is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales revenue and client retention goals.
