Account Executive Commercial Job Description

Position Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for delivering exceptional service and operational support to Hatcher Property & Casualty (P&C) clients. Working in partnership with the broader service and producer team this role serves as a trusted day-to-day resource by managing policy service renewals carrier relationships and account administration while helping clients protect their businesses and assets. The role reports to the P&C Practice Leader and works collaboratively with Producers and internal business partners.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering an Exceptional Client Experience

Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients.

Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and service requests.

Build relationships with clients carriers and internal stakeholders.

Research and resolve issues.

Identify client experience improvements.

Escalate complex issues as needed.

Maintain confidentiality.

Managing Client Service and Account Administration

Manage assigned commercial insurance accounts.

Process endorsements cancellations reinstatements and renewals.

Coordinate certificates and policy documentation.

Review policies for accuracy.

Maintain records in the agency management system.

Prioritize workload and deadlines.

Monitor outstanding items to completion.

Supporting Renewals and Marketing Activities

Participate in renewal strategy meetings.

Support renewal preparation and marketing activities.

Review renewal proposals and presentation materials.

Coordinate policy implementations and carrier transitions.

Identify coverage gaps and risk management opportunities.

Accountability

Deliver exceptional client service.

Maintain quality and accuracy.

Support seamless execution during growth and change.

Build trusted collaborative relationships.

Demonstrate sound judgment and ownership.

Qualifications

2 years of experience in P&C account management insurance risk management or financial services.

Active P&C Insurance license or ability to obtain licensure after hire.

Experience supporting commercial insurance clients.

Working knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and on a team.

Preferred

Experience with Applied Epic AMS360 or similar systems.

Experience supporting middle-market or large commercial clients.

CISR CIC CRM or similar insurance designations.
