Account Executive, Commercial Flooring- Cincinnati, OH

The Role

Shaw Contract is growing in Ohio and hiring an Account Executive to lead business development across the Cincinnati and Dayton markets. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships generating new business and managing a territory with a high degree of autonomy.Youllwork with flooring contractors end users and industry partners to deliver flooring solutions frominitialopportunity through project completionwhile building a strong consistent pipelineofnew business.

WhatYoullDo

• Drive new business through prospecting networking and lead follow-up

• Build andmaintainrelationships withflooringcontractors end users and key stakeholders

• Manage projects from opportunity through order delivery and installation

• Travel daily within the Cincinnati/Dayton territory to develop and grow accounts

• Utilize Salesforce and structured sales processes (SPPM) to manage pipeline and opportunities

• Represent Shaw Contract in the local market through meetings and industry events

What It Takes to Succeed

• Proven ability to prospect build pipeline and close new business

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Self-motivated with the ability tooperateindependently & on a team within the territory

• Effective communication and relationship-building skills

Requirements:

• 1 years of sales experience

• Mustresidein the Cincinnati or Dayton OH area

Preferred:

• Experience working with flooring contractors or in commercial interiors

• Bachelors degree
