This role requires highly organized detail-oriented and customer-focused skills and the ability to comfortable work in a fast-paced healthcare and insurance environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Answering emails from brokers and members.
- Assisting in account management with customer service inquiries (including high-level/VIP member support such as ID card requests).
- Researching claims and helping recommend healthcare providers.
- Updating creating and manipulating data spreadsheets.
Work Schedule: Full-time onsite at our Fresno location Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Education
High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience
Employee benefits health insurance or healthcare customer service experience preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint required
- Experience with health plans or broker account management preferred
Previous healthcare customer service or administrative experience is preferred
- Experience with the QNext preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
CALIFEA - Valid California Department of Insurance Life-Only Agent License required within nine (9) months of hire or transfer into position
CAAHBA - Valid California Department of Insurance Accident and Health Brokers/Agent License required within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position
Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.
