Academy Lunch Supervisor, Lower School

The Lunch Supervisor is responsible for providing a safe orderly and caring environment during the student lunch period. This individual actively supervises students promotes positive behavior and ensures that lunch procedures are followed while supporting students needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervise students throughout the lunch period to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce school expectations with consistency and kindness.
• Assist students with their needs during lunch including opening containers locating supplies and responding to minor concerns.
• Encourage good manners and appropriate social interactions during mealtime.
• Maintain cleanliness in the lunch area by encouraging students to clean up after themselves and monitoring tables and surrounding spaces.
• Promote student safety by remaining attentive and addressing concerns promptly.
• Ensure students remain seated when appropriate and follow cafeteria procedures.
• Organize students for dismissal from lunch ensuring they line up quietly safely and in an orderly manner.
• Maintain punctuality by arriving on time and ensuring lunch routines stay on schedule.
• Communicate any student concerns injuries behavioral issues or safety concerns to the appropriate school personnel.
• Model professionalism patience and positive interactions with students and staff.

Required Experience:
