The Academic Advisor II supporting the CON is responsible for advising undergraduate nursing students from their first day of class until they graduate from the College. An Academic Advisor serves as a front-line contact for undergraduate students with developmental advising to empower students to meet their academic and career goals maximizing student success and retention. They interpret information and provide clarification on procedures and academic requirements. They will determine whether degree requirements have been fulfilled counsel students on options to satisfy degree requirements refer students to appropriate student success resources and report student data. The Academic Advisor II is able to provide reliable academic advising independently and continues to enhance their advising competence. This position may be able to complete 1-2 days per week remote and/or a flexible schedule. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
