Overview
The Academic Advisor supports students by providing guidance on course selection academic planning and program requirements. This role ensures students receive accurate information and personalized support to help them achieve their educational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide oneonone academic advising to new and continuing students
Assist with course planning degree audits and registration
Monitor student progress and identify support needs
Maintain accurate advising records and documentation
Collaborate with faculty and student services teams
Support orientation and student success initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree required; bachelors degree preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in advising coaching or student support roles
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
